Cultural Preservation
Cataloging, conservation, and stewardship of significant art collections and cultural artifacts. No limit as to culture, people, or geography.
Building spaces that outlast us.
The Mission
The Green House Foundation preserves historically and culturally significant art, develops artists into sustainable creative careers, and builds the cultural spaces where both endure.
Cataloging, conservation, and stewardship of significant art collections and cultural artifacts. No limit as to culture, people, or geography.
Sponsorships, scholarships, branding, and professional infrastructure that move an artist from passion to profession.
Master artist workshops paired with real business training, so creative skill and the ability to earn a living grow together.
Music education, licensed therapy, performances, and instrument lending delivered through galleries, hospitals, schools, and correctional institutions.
Exhibitions, cultural events, and an annual pow wow that bring people into the work and keep cultural identity visible and alive.
Breathwork, meditation, sound healing, movement practice, equine therapy, and plant-medicine education rooted in the arts.
A historically significant art collection was at risk of being lost. Today it lives, protected, cared for, and on the walls of the Green House Gallery.
Preserving it is where the Foundation's first dollars go. Some works are irreplaceable. Once they are gone, they are gone for good.
We are working to raise $5 million for the mission through two paths that pull in the same direction. Grants we are actively pursuing, and an endowment fund supported by private and institutional donors. Every dollar, from either path, flows into the same insured endowment that funds programs quarter after quarter.
Federal, state, and private foundation grants that protect the collection, build BEACON, and grow the endowment. See exactly what we are seeking and where the dollars go.
See the grants →Private and institutional donors give once into an insured endowment fund that produces recurring income, funding the mission quarter after quarter. It is an engine, not a cycle of asking.
Learn more about the endowment →Artists are showing and selling right now. There is room for people who bring capital, network, and belief in what we are building. Find your way in.
Your gift enters the endowment and funds programs every quarter. First dollars protect the Bacone Collection.
We are building the inaugural Board of Directors now, before the 2034 visibility arrives. Early members shape everything built from here.
Visit the Gallery in Huntsville, meet the team, walk the collection, and see what the Foundation is building.
Whether you want to give, join the board, or simply visit, send us a note and we'll be in touch. We read every message.
